Jim and Sandy Stack Join
the PHCC Educational Foundation Board of Governors
FALLS CHURCH, Va. (October 27, 2021) –The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association’s (PHCC) Educational Foundation has named Jim and Sandy Stack to the organization’s Board of Governors. This distinguished group – composed of leading contractors, manufacturers, and other industry partners who are major donors to the Foundation – is responsible for guiding the development of industry education and training programs for contractors and their employees.
Jim Stack served as a member of the Board of Directors of the PHCC of Washington State Association and his local PHCC association throughout the 1990s and 2000’s, including terms as local and PHCC of Washington State President. He served two terms as a PHCC—National Association Board member before running for national office. He moved through the chairs and served as the PHCC—National Association President 2005 to 2006.
Sandy met Jim through PHCC. Sandy has been continuously active in the PHCC Auxiliary, serving on various committees and the National officer chairs leading up to her term as National Auxiliary President in 1997-1998 and again in 2012-2013. She has also served as Auxiliary representative on the PHCC—National Association Board.
Jim and Sandy are both long-time volunteers with the Foundation. Jim has served on the Scholarship committee for over a decade. Sandy has been on the Foundation’s Invest in Your Future annual giving campaign committee for nearly 20 years.
Jim & Sandy have been regular donors to the Foundation and in late 2020 they made the commitment to join the Board of Governors. The Foundation looks to this prestigious group for guidance, leadership and for assistance with delivering on its educational mission.
“Jim and Sandy are all in on PHCC, the Auxiliary and the Foundation,” shared Foundation Chair Kevin Tindall. “They have both given so much of their time volunteering to PHCC, and not just once but continuously – for more than 20 years. We are so lucky to have this level of enduring commitment from members of our Foundation family.”
