This webinar will cover the basics of how to pressure test Viega press systems prior to commissioning to ensure there are no connections left unpressed. We will cover copper, steel, and PEX piping systems in this brief overview of the testing process.
Presented by Viega Sr. Technical Trainer, Tim Severance
Tim is a member of UA Plumbers Local 3 and a UA ITP Instructor; he is a Licensed Master Plumber for the State of Colorado and has worked in the plumbing and heating industry for over 17 years. Tim is an ASSE Certified Backflow Tester and Repairer and Backflow Instructor. Tim also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in Water Resource Engineering from SUNY ESF & Syracuse University. After completing the UA Apprenticeship Program, Tim obtained an Industrial Training in Applied Science degree from Washtenaw Community College.
