Reid Wilson of The Hill newspaper presents “Politics Politics Politics!”

In this opening session of the first-ever PHCC VIRTUAL Legislative Conference, you’ll learn the latest political news and information, get familiar with the virtual meeting platform, and prepare for productive meetings with your Federal representatives the next day! Here’s what’s planned:

• Journalist Reid Wilson will kick off the afternoon session with a keynote presentation on “Politics, Politics, Politics!”

• Lincoln Clapper with PHCC consultant Advocacy Associates will review the virtual meeting platform with meeting attendees and answer any technical questions they may have.

• To prepare attendees for their meetings the next day, PHCC Director of Legislative Affairs Mark Valentini and VP of Regulatory Affairs Chuck White will provide a briefing on key issues, as well as tips on virtual meeting etiquette. A Q & A will follow.

Experience a day of engaging and exciting interaction with your Congressional offices that will conclude with a special information-sharing event for attendees!

Special notes:
• Individual meetings will be scheduled by expert schedulers between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 16.

• Attendees will receive their confirmed individual schedules via email from Advocacy Associates l by June 2.

• Participants will be given access to a personalized dashboard that lists their meetings, includes talking points on our issues, and includes bios on the legislators with whom they are meeting.

• Talking points for the meetings with Congressional offices will be included in virtual meeting packets.

• Meetings will be scheduled based on an attendee’s state and Congressional district. State delegations will be scheduled together.

Legislative Conference Closing Reception & Attendee Feedback

In this virtual version of a an “open mic” session, attendees will have the opportunity to share highlights of their conference experience with other event participants. Members of Congress will be invited to speak to the group.
