And they’re off! Enjoy this fun-filled fund-raiser by taking part in the events of the evening featuring all things Kentucky!

Challenge Air was created to change the perception of children with special needs through the gift flight. Since 1993, Challenge Air has been committed to making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. With a network of 3,500 volunteers nationwide, the organization continues to grow through events called Fly Days.

Challenge Air provides an unforgettable growing experience that opens the door to possibilities while allowing the children to see if they can fly a plane, they can do anything!

Lauren Schieffer, CSP

Lauren’s passion is helping organizations build their next generation of leaders. Whether it’s training, keynotes or longer-term consulting partnerships, she uses Nine Essentials of Significant Leadership™ to help transform the way managers think, make decisions & act toward the people they lead. Organizations bring Lauren in because she brings a fresh new perspective, and a street-smart approach to what works and what doesn’t, helping speed transformation in three critical areas: knowledge, skills and relationships. As a result, your people will be more focused on what matters every day. They’ll lead with compassion and integrity, and they’ll create and model standards of excellence that others will aspire to and follow – all centered behind a common goal and vision. That’s what SIGNIFICANT leadership is. As the daughter of a career Air Force officer, Lauren Schieffer grew up being uprooted and relocated every couple of years. This imbued her with a profound independence and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. The lessons she learned from “The Colonel” have helped her make smart decisions and overcome adversity with humility and a sense of humor. Lauren is a Certified Speaking Professional through the NSA and The Global Speakers Federation. Able to relate to and energize everyone from the custodial staff to C-Level executives, Lauren is a master storyteller, delivering insightful, inspirational and relevant content that empowers people to absorb and act upon what they’ve heard – and she does so in an entertaining manner with a dry sense of humor that keeps them chuckling while they’re learning. Her enthusiasm is infectious and her passion unmistakable. Anyone can be successful. You want your people to be significant.

Justin Patton

Justin Patton truly believes that his purpose is to empower people to make their presence matter. He feels this not because he has it all together or because he has it all figured out. He believes this is because he knows what it’s like to get it wrong – to not live up to his potential. When Justin was 18 his father passed away unexpectedly. At that moment everything changed. As an 18-year-old kid who did not know how to handle pain that deep, he coped in the only way he know how. That was by emotionally disconnecting. He threw himself into his career and used external achievements to validate himself. He lacked empathy in relationships and communicated through his ego. It took 12 years for his wake up call to come in. He realized that if he was going to paly bigger, he needed to start making some different choices and get out of his own way. Today he feels that he is privileged to be able to take the lessons learned, all of the training certifications that he has acquired, all the books he has written and use these experiences to help others reimagine how they show up in the world.
