Learn the Details of the Stimulus Package in FREE Webinaar

To help members learn more about the federal stimulus package that is specific to them and their customers, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association and Quality Service Contractors will offer a free members-only Webinar at 3 p.m. ET April 23. 

Titled “The Stimulus Package:  What’s in it for Your Customers and You,” the one-hour Webinar will be led by Mike Bohinc of Keeping Score, Inc., a CPA with a background in the p-h-c industry.   It will provide background on what tax credits are available for homeowners to install energy-efficient equipment in their homes.  High-efficiency central air conditioners, water heaters, furnaces, boilers and air source heat pump, solar hot water systems and geothermal heat pumps are examples.  The information shared will not only educate participants, but also help them answer customers’ questions and possibly close a sale. 

Other elements of the stimulus package also will be covered, such as tax incentives for new vehicle purchases, first-time homebuyers and Section 179 qualifying equipment expenditures.
