Why send out a cheap little service postcards? If for every 1,000 you send out (@ 50¢ each) you get a 3% customer response at $79, that's $2370 on 30 visits.
But that's 30 face-to-face opportunities to gain Maintenance Agreement customers. Convert 45% of those at $129 each or so, for $1741.
1 in 24 will need equipment. Score on that, and you've got another $4200 or so. So, on the conservative side, you stand to collect around $7300 for your $500 effort. You'll also have 30 more names in the database for every 1,000 postcards!
