PHCC Wrote the Book:
The National Standard Plumbing Code
PHCC wrote the book. Since first publishing a Standard Plumbing code in 1933, PHCC has been maintaining what is known today as the National Standard Plumbing Code (NSPC) on an annual basis. Designed to ensure the proper installation of plumbing systems, the NSPC provides local and state governments, code administrative bodies, and industry with a modern code to protect public health and safety.
The 2015 National Standard Plumbing has been completed and is available through the PHCC Bookstore in the popular Illustrated format. The Code has been updated to include the latest advances in the industry. The NSPC Code Committee is now accepting Proposed Changes for inclusion in the 2018 National Standard Plumbing Code. For additional information, please email Chuck White at email@example.com.
Order the NSPC Now! Available in print or on CD, the National Standard Plumbing Code–Illustrated is published every three years.

To keep the code current and viable and with input from all interested parties, the NSPC Committee — comprised of licensed contractors, engineers, and inspectors — reviews the code annually and updates it on a three-year cycle.
Past editions of the NSPC are available through the bookstore as well. PHCC also offers free online viewing of the 2009 NSPC.
