PHCC of Georgia – Setting the Standard
In 2011, using a grassroots approach which included meeting with members of the National Water Quality Association and collecting more than 850 member petition signatures, PHCC of Georgia effectively blocked proposed legislation that would have allowed water treatment installers to access plumbing fixtures and lines without needing a plumbing license.
- PHCC’s State Net service, which regularly alerts chapters of state legislative and regulatory activities and issues affecting the p-h-c industry in their respective state
- An automated letter-writing service that state and local chapters can use to initiate grassroots written campaigns to lobby state legislatures on state-specific issues
- Guidance and techniques to help chapters hold a successful “Day at the State Capitol” event
