PHCC, Educational Foundation to Hold “Town Hall” Meetings on Capitol Hill
Over the past few months, PHCC National and Educational Foundation have held several important meetings on Capitol Hill, all designed to accelerate action on workforce development in the industry. PHCC has positioned itself to be a leader in working with lawmakers to create real solutions and programs.
The feedback we’re getting from national legislators is that they want help tackling the skills gap. Specifically, they want to hear real-life success stories regarding workforce recruitment and retention in the p-h-c industry. To help educate them on best practices working across the country, we’ve scheduled roundtable “Town Hall’ discussions on Capitol Hill. These will be held in conjunction with the House Career and Technical Education Caucus.
Several PHCC members have been invited to participate in these discussions. Look for updates in the PHCC Online and social media outlets.
