Robert W. Kordulak Passes Away
Robert W. Kordulak, 84, of Belmar, passed away Saturday February 11 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune with his family by his side. Robert was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Englewood, NJ before moving to Belmar, NJ in the early 60's. Robert was a licensed plumber for over 60 years and was the owner and operator of The Arkord Company for over 50 years. Robert was a past secretariat on the National Standard Plumbing Code Committee and sat on various other technical committees over the years. Robert worked and lived for his family; there was nothing more important than his family.
Robert was predeceased by his son Robert, Jr. in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores (nee Niedzialkowski) Kordulak, Belmar; three daughters and one son-in-law, Denise Kordulak of Belmar, Jacqueline and Charles Strimpler of Manasquan and Connie Kordulak of Belmar. Robert is also survived by a granddaughter Samantha Kordulak Strimpler.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, February 14, from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Wednesday, February 15, at St. Mark's Church 215 Crescent Parkway, Sea Girt, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.
