Join the Capitol Exchange ListServStart sharing your views on politics and legislation today! JOIN THE CAPITOL EXCHANGE ListServ and share, exchange and engage in discussions with other p-h-c contractors. I know you are all aware of the historic significance of Tuesday night’s election. The political landscape in our Nation’s Capitol will be very different than anything we’ve experienced in the past 12-15 years. However, this could be positive for small businesses. During the last months of the Presidential campaign small businesses became a common campaign theme of both candidates and there were many promises made to assist small businesses, like p-h-c contractors, in these tough economic times. The 111th Congress may present a unique opportunity for p-h-c contractors to make a significant impact on public policy. In an effort to provide PHCC members with information on federal legislation and to allow members to discuss politics, PHCC National’s Government Relations department has reintroduced the Capitol Exchange ListServ. This tool is a great way for PHCC-NA to inform you of any regulatory, legislative, or political issues that impact you and your business. In addition, it is our hope that this ListServ will allow you the opportunity to share information with each other. We are also hopeful this venue will allow members to bring important issues to our attention, to request resources and to network with your peers who may be dealing with similar issues. The Government Relations department will gladly provide letters, background information on issues, tips on how to engage your Representatives and Senators on issues that may be important to you, and much more! We will do all we can to assist your efforts at the state level as well as here in Washington. Please don’t hesitate to contact us. In addition, you are welcome to begin posting questions or start discussions regarding issues in your state immediately. Thank you for your participation!
