Larry Linne, Intellectual Innovations
Lead by one of the business world’s most innovative thinkers, this workshop will help business “First in Commands” who are finding the noise to be overwhelming in their lives and their businesses, causing them to spend less than 20% of their time doing what brings the greatest value to the organization.
This program will help leaders reduce/eliminate the noise through an internal look at their effectiveness, as well as providing a guide to develop a “Second in Command” to help them reach 80% of their time doing what they do best.
To help prepare for this session, CCA members will receive a copy of Larry’s book, Make the Noise Go Away before the meeting.
- Contractor Spotlight: Dickie McCurdy, MMM Plumbing
- Roundtables and/or Commercial and Residential breakouts
- Disaster Planning and Recovery
Laramie Sandquist, Federated Insurance
The capstone to every strong risk management plan is how to prepare and react to the unexpected events outside of a business’s control. Disaster planning will focus on steps a business should take prior to any catastrophe to help ensure expedited recovery and the ability to resume servicing customers as quickly as possible.
We will discuss the various types of disasters as well as best practices from a preparation standpoint. Operations, employees, key contacts, IT resources, finances, and other aspects will be examined to ensure proper planning is happening every day to prepare for the unexpected.
