PHCC National Auxiliary
The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Auxiliary consists of men and women with the purpose of "working in partnership with the plumbing, heating and cooling industry through cooperation, communication and education."
We are comprised of members who have a wide variety of backgrounds. The common denominator, however, is an interest in the p-h-c industry. We hold diverse jobs from nursing, teaching, homemaking, sales, business owners, contractors, secretaries, etc. ... you name it. You can become as involved or uninvolved as you wish to be.
At CONNECT 2016, we sponsored an HVAC technician in the Apprentice Contest. We hosted the Bradford White Scholarship Breakfast on Thursday and co-sponsored the Workforce Development Breakfast on Friday. Later that day we hosted the InSinkErator Awards Luncheon where winners were announced for the Larry Dore Member of the Year Award, the 3D Award and the Cox Awards, recognizing and funding state and local efforts to showcase the industry.
We also presented more than $50,000 in scholarships nationally. Many state and local auxiliaries also give scholarships to qualifying students. On state and local levels we work with our associations and contractors to supplement their volunteers and get out the word on PHCC membership and the industry as a fabulous career choice.

Special News and Acknowledgments
This is the 95th year of the National Auxiliary. What a milestone! The file above and bullets below represent the ten-year update of that history since the printing of the book, "A Partnership Unique." Please enjoy this tribute to those who have served us so very well.
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History recently acquired archival materials from the PHCC-National Auxiliary, which tell the story of both women’s history and small business. The collection includes organizational records and 27 scrapbooks documenting the organization’s 92-year-old history. The complete collection relates to business history, especially family-owned business, advertising history and the history of technology in plumbing, heating and cooling.
Over the last 50 years, InSinkErator has made many contributions to the PHCC–National Auxiliary. This book is a tribute to former ISE executive Dennis Broderick supporting his many years of support.
